1. What types of candles do you offer?
At Ignique Candles, we create a variety of premium candles, including scented jar candles, pillar candles, tealights and seasonal collections. Each design combines fragrance, wax and vessel style to bring a unique ambience to your space.
2. What wax and materials are used?
We select high‑quality wax blends (coconut-soy wax), premium fragrance oils and lead‐free cotton and eco wicks. This ensures a cleaner burn, rich scent throw and premium finish.

3. How do I care for my candle so it burns well and lasts longer?

To get the most from your candle:

  • Trim the wick to ~¼ inch (about 5–7 mm) before each lighting.
  • On first burn, allow the molten wax pool to reach the edges of the vessel — this helps prevent “tunnelling.”
  • Burn for at least 2–4 hours at a time.
  • Place the candle on a heat‑resistant surface, away from drafts, flammable materials, children or pets.
  • After use, allow to cool fully and keep the vessel clean of debris.
4. Are your candles safe and environmentally friendly?

We follow industry safety protocols, use lead‑free wicks, fragrance oils compliant with recognised standards, and vessels resistant to thermal shock. For environmental considerations, we strive to use responsibly sourced materials, recyclable or reusable vessels where possible, and minimise packaging waste.

That said, candles involve an open flame and must be used according to safety instructions.

5. What is your shipping policy and delivery time?

We ship domestically from our fulfilment centre. Typical dispatch is within 7 working days of order confirmation (unless otherwise noted).

Delivery time will vary depending on your location and chosen shipping method. All orders are free of shipping cost.

6. Can I track my order?
Yes — once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking link via email (and/or SMS) with estimated delivery details. If you do not receive tracking information, please contact our customer support.

7. What is your return or exchange policy?

Due to the nature of candles (consumable and flame‑used products), we generally do not accept returns of candles that have been lit. However, if you receive a damaged, defective or incorrect product, please contact us within 15 days with your order number and photographs. We will work with you to issue a replacement or refund according to our policy.

8. Can I request a custom or bulk order?

Absolutely! If you’re looking for a custom fragrance, bespoke packaging, large‑quantity gifting, corporate orders, event favours or wholesale supply, please reach out to our team with your requirements.

We will be happy to provide a quote, lead time and production timeline.

9. How long will my candle stay good? (Shelf life & storage)
We recommend using your candle within 6 months of purchase, to ensure optimal fragrance and burn performance. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to maintain wax quality and scent potency.

10. Do you offer safe disposal or recycling guidance for vessels?
Yes — once a candle is fully spent (wax level below ~0.5 cm), you can clean the vessel by placing it in the freezer briefly, then removing the remaining wax and washing with warm soapy water. Reuse or recycle the glass container or other vessel if local recycling allows. Be sure to remove any remaining cotton wick or metal parts before recycling.

11. Will the colour of the candle or vessel exactly match what I see on screen?
We strive to display product images as accurately as possible, but due to differences in screen settings, lighting, and small batch variations, the actual colour or finish may vary slightly from what appears online. The difference is minor and typically does not affect burn performance or fragrance.
